well, it sounded like the front left brake was going so i bought new brake pads...

i take the caliper off and check them.. they're full, there's no groove in the rotor, no nothing

but when i drive i hear a sound like the brakes are going (sorta like how some pads have the wear indicator)

any clue wtf this is?

there probably cheap brake pads. use the oem ones. there more quieter

possibly, but it even makes that noise while the car is in motion without the brakes on...

could it be the wheel bearings making noise? Check for play....

Check the caliper pins to make sure they aren't bound up. If so free them up and lubricate with grease. If they are bound up they can make the brake pad rub against the rotor. Also check the springs that run from one pad to the other on the top. If rusted or weak can cause the pad to rub as well.
