USA Front end noise

97 Prizm has clank, clank, clank noise when braking at low speed. It seems to be coming from the front driver side. I have a friend with a 1997 Corolla that has the same problem.
Anyone know what the most likely cause is?
Thanks!

checking autzone.com's repair troubleshooter you definitely have brake issues. *shrug* get it checked out by a mechanic. all of the diagnosises say your rotors/drums are warped or your brake shoe is loose

Is there any droning noise when you are driving along normally? If so, then your front wheel bearings might need replacement as well.

USA Thanks Criard

Replaced front pads. Problem resolved. Must have been loose pad. I think my friends is the mounting clips? Thanks Again!
