05 corolla S help

hey everyone i am new the this forum, and already have a problem. i just got a 05 regular S. yes i know XRS is better but i got a super deal on this one and already have plans to swap XRS motor or find turbo back up for the stocker. does anyone know where i can either get a XRS motor and tranny for cheap or a turbo manifold or kit for the S. thanks.

u cant just swap the xrs motor in, those are two diff beasts, you would need a new ECU, a bunch of wiring.. in short it would be a wiser choice to buy a XRS, the lift in those is complicated and will take money to make work....

as a side note the 2ZZ was in celicas as well

The difference isn't in the motor alone, there is suspension and 4-wheel disc brake setup to worry about as well. You're better off just trading in your car for an XRS as the complications of swapping parts isn't worth the time, money and effort.
