Sea Foam

I have a 96 Corolla and I want to run some seafoam through and clean up the injectors a little. It says on the can with a warm running engine slowly pour 1/3 of the can into the throttle body or main vacuum line. It also says to make sure the vacuum line feeds into all sylinders and if you dont know contact a technician. I guess my question is it better to pour it through the throttle body and do I just take of the air intake and pour it in as someone feathers the gas?

I put mine in thru thru brake booster vacuum line. Any vacuum line will do but this was the most convenient line to get to.

The EGR system is great to tap for that. Take off the hose from the engine block and let it sip. Keep the revs as low as possible for maximum effect, just don't let the engine stall. I've found it works best if you've got an assistant...one person keeps a foot on the gas and an eye on the revs, the other lets the hose suck shallowly from the surface of a container of Seafoam. The bottom third of a plastic pop bottle works nicely...plenty of room to manuever it around, you can see what you're doing, and it's about a third of the can.
