AE92 AE92 jack stands...

I've seen jack stands where the top is similar to the top of the stock lift that's in the trunk of an AE92. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get jackstands like that or what they're called.

If not, is there another good jack point aside from the 4 tabs under the sides of the car? Do the Y head jackstands work good?

For the most part, I've always just used the lift in my trunk to do work on my car, but I want something better and doing it that way is supposedly dangerous...

I hope you are not getting under the car with only that scissors jack in place.

If you look past those 4 tabs, there should be something that looks like a frame rail maybe 1 ft behind (not towards the rear of the car) that lip where the scissor jack goes. The car can rest on a jack stand under that rail.

If you get a hydraulic floor jack, you can lift by that rail but its recommended you put some wood in the saddle first.

Do not lift/rest the car on the frame rail... it will crumple.

lift the car up from the center of the rear axle, or the bar that goes under the engine. This way you can place the jackstands on the jack points. yes the Y jackstands work I have my car suspended on them.

I lift it RIGHT behind the front wheels and on the mounts for the arms for the rear suspension.
