Question Safe to install spoiler without led light?

I'm editing the title of this post, scroll down to see pics of the spoiler without the light.

Hi all,

Just got myself a used 03 Corolla and picked up an oem spoiler on eBay which was from an 04-05 Corolla but has no brake light on the spoiler. The spot where it should be is empty. Anyone have any idea how/where I can find this light piece so I can add it it?

Thanks for the response. Didn't know if they just sold the light as one piece, or if it only came together with the spoiler only. How does the light connect to the brake lights? Is wiring supposed to run through the spoiler and into the trunk to connect to the brake lights?

Just spoke with a local dealer, $251 Canadian for the light only

I'm going to try to get in touch with some ebay sellers who make replicas, otherwise I'll just leave the spoiler as is.

Here's some pics of the spoiler without the light. Seeing that there's a hole there, would it be safe for me to install the spoiler without plugging the hole? I'm afraid water would seep and cause rust eventually. What do you all think?

Any luck Azn-BriaN? The cheapest I've found locally is $120 Canadian, still too expensive for me.

Yeah I tried, I sent pics to sellers of replica oem spoilers but didn't find any with a light that would fit the factory spoiler. People have been suggesting going to a local junkyard/autowecker but not sure how lucky I will get with that. Thanks anyways!
