07 Corolla - Daytime Running Light/Instrument Panel Light Delay

I've done a search, but didn't come up with anything regarding this question.

For an 07 Toyota Corolla, is there a way to adjust the timing of when the "day-time running lights" turn on and when the "instrument panel" lights turn on?

Currently, there's about a 20 second delay when starting the car at night (day-time lights immediately come on) to when the instrument panel lights turn on (the radio/AC lights). Is that normal? We've brought it into a couple of dealers and they claim that it's normal.

Of course, turning the lights on via the switch, the instrument panel lights come on. But I'd assume that there would be a semi-easy way of adjusting the timing of the day-time lights to the instrument panel lights. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

nope u cant adjust it, your DRL come on as soon as u drop the ebrake, but then there is a delay before the twilight lights come on, that is there so that incase u drive under a bridge or something where its dark, u dont have the lights come on and off all the time
