Australia hmmm keep the alltrak or move on???

hey guys, im trying to decide whether to keep the alltrak, and save 4 4age st or bt transplant (because the oil containment rings in my 4afe are gone, and i ned some POWER!!) or whether i should sell it 4 $2000 aud and move onto something a bit quicker? i kno it comes down 2 my personal choice, but i wanna hear ur opinions to try and get some ideas.
cheers guys

Are there any other problems with the alltrak besides the need for an engine replacement? If everything is good and you want to make a project out of it and it has sentimental value keep it. But if other things are in need of repair/service or soon will be sell it.

Toysport's input...

I just went to the toysport website (if you are unaware of this organization I suggest you get to know it!) and it's under reconstruction, but I distinctly remember them saying the corolla alltrac setup cannot handle any significant hp upgrades. With 2wd you'd have all sorts of tranny options to address this, though.

could just shove the celica all trac tranny in it no? That would help with the tranny not being able to deal with the extra power

go to twincam theres guys running all sorts of swaps in the alltracks. i remember seeing somewhere that 20V's arent the best choice with the 4wd, as a gze would be a better engine platform with the extra torque.

I'm thinkin if they can make an adapter to bolt up the supra tranny to the 4age in an ae86 it can be done to mate up the all trac celica tranny to a 4agze/4age 20v or w/e option he wants to do
