AE86 A question about camber

Ok, so my car now rides 1" lower then it used to and I'm in need of an alignment. I just want to know if I need a camber kit for an AE86 for a 1" drop or not.

I think you'll be ok, I got a 1.7inch drop on my car and camber never went off that much, you will probably need alignment for sure, get it aligned and go from there.

Usually anything over 2-2.5inches of lowering will most likely need camber adjustment.

I dropped my AE92 1.7" and my camber is about 1 degree I think, which I think is a nice good number.

you should be fine.

I even bought camber adjuster bolt things and didn't end up having to use them.

just go get an alignment and check what your camber is on the little stats sheet they give you.

No camber kit needed, all that will be out of whack is you toe setting.Btw on these cars roll center correction is more important than camber, you can do some reading on various sites like club4ag etc.Theres actually a pretty good writeup in this months SCC with their project AE86 and explains quite abit for the new guys.
