throttle body no filter, recommended?

would you guys recommend going no filter, just the intake pipe, for 1 week? that's all i need. Shouldn't this net more power? Discuss.

Ya definitely. You should also drain out all the oil and coolant, it's just extra weight.

i personally think you should take off ur sump too. less weight, plus its less air resistance. nah seriously, dnt run ur car with out a filter, if u suck dust n shit into ur engine it will accelerate engine damage.

Take the wheels off too, they just create drag and slow you down; use spare tires instead.

Hehe.. you'll get as much power with no filter than you would with a high flow filter like a mushroom of death (HKS style) so you might as well put one of those on the car.

filter keeps the dirt out of your engine, wouldn't be as drastic as running with no oil or coolant as stated above :p but I advise against it, unless of course your running a 20v with stacks and no filter and have the money to replace the 20v or have a spare (Ren might remember that meet! lol) then again he also had summer tires on in FEB!!

He'll get as much power as he'll get with the stock intake.

Indeed and I'd recommend putting filters on the stacks too.
