Canada new member !

Hi !

I am Greg from Montreal Canada, I have just purchased a 1990 corolla wagon with 400.000 kms, that s about 250.000 miles !
The car is in a pretty good condition, the previous owner was from Vancouver so the car is not rusted(was rustrpoofed)
The engine is in a awsome condition too, no oil leaks, runs fine and very smooth
SUpensions will need to be changed, probably with Gabriels or KYB... do you know any good place to order ?? Ebay or any other online store ?
THe other thing is that the clutch is very short, its a new one, but the pedal is really short...I was thinking about a leaking slave clutch cylinder or master cylinder...but I didn,t find any leaks...
Thanks for your help guys !

Greg

sorry for my english, french is my mother tongue,

Canada

i changed the clutch in a 98 corolla that I just bought because the clutch pedal release point was vert close to the floor and the enagegment was very close to the floor

the new one was just the same and it seems to be working fine

I would suggest that you not worry about it unless you have clutch slippage or difficulty in changing gears

It s was probably not the clutch but a leak in the hydrolic system, slave clutch or master cylinder....that is exactly what I have...
