USA Exhaust Systems

Hi,
I have a 2006 Corolla S. Can exhaust systems between the XRS and the other models go hand in hand with no modification? I'm buying a system, and am interested in the Greddy SP2 exhaust system. However, it is listed for the XRS model. I asked Greddy themselves and they said they have never tested it on the S. Has anybody ever installed a system for the XRS on the CE, LE, or the S?

Thanks,
Mungro

I think it should since the exhaust setup is similar (Toyota's money saving stunt made the 8400 rpm high breathing XRS come with the airbox from the 6200 rpm 1ZZ Corollas and the stock exhaust setup is almost identical). That is why I think exhaust should easily fit on 1ZZ with maybe small modifications required. Cold air intake will be different since the size of the engine is different causing the piping to be routed differently in the two engines.

If you want to be safe, you can order Borla axle back exhaust or Magnaflow full catback exhaust for 1ZZ Corollas (there is one for 2ZZ as well, which I think is almost identical).

I love my street performance 2. Sounds deep and throaty, but not very loud at all. I am quite sure it will fit on your 1ZZ Corolla. Only small tweaks might be required at best.

Yes it does. Magnaflow is a full catback exhaust.
