Wait, you're going to spend real live money modding a 17 year old car?

if it's a 1990 FWD its an AE92, what motor does it have? post pics man... chances are it's got either a 1.6L DOHC 4AFE motor, OR a 1.6L Twin Cam 4AGE.

RickMN... what's wrong with 17yr old cars?

your car would have a belt and would change it soon. it would be @2-3hr job if you do water pump, seals and belt. I bet i can have it done in a hr. My 89 325i BMW took me 2.5 hours and that is alot more work then this AE92 engine that i have in my 90 corolla DX.

Modding a old car is fun and a challenge. Shoot my BMW is 14yrs old and i have only broke the surface with modding

Doesn't matter, you're still going to get 2-5hp max.. if that.

CAI would have to be custom done for your car as there are none available that I know of.

If you want to go for looks...go for it. Just make sure that the air filter is a washable and reusable one.
