New to the site and cars in general. I've been internet searching for days on CIAs and I have yet to find any valuable rescources. Is there a holy grail explaining these systems or have any of you 99 corolla owners installed one yourself? I'm at wits end looking for info specific to Corolla's so I'd thought I'd ask other corolla owners. Thanks for you help.
ive think ive sold one spectre air filter. it was the biggest on there. you'll see it when you go in and look. i've heard they were junk but i wouldnt know.

READ UP ON MY POST http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t201427.html AND IT SHOULD GIVE U THE ANSWER I FOUND A WAY TO DO IT...THERE SHOULD B A LINK ON THAT POST SENDING YOU TO THE PICTURE GALLERY WHICH HAS A 94 COROLLA WITH A COLD AIR...AND SINCE THE ENGINE BAY OF A 98 ISNT MUCH DIFERENT FROM A 94 YOU CAN DO THE SAME THING. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS RELOCATE THE CATCH CAN (PLASTIC) FOR YOUR RADIATOR FLUID....WHICH SHOULD B ON THE LEFT SIDE OF YOUR BATTERY AND MOVE IT BEHIND THE BATTERY...YOUR GONNA NEED SOME TUBING SO U CAN MOVE THE CATCH CAN....AND THEN PEICE THE COLD AIR WITH THOSE KITS IN AUTOZONE OR ADVANCE AUTOPARTS...OR JUST CUSTOMIZE IT YOURSELF WITH PIPES AND WELDING...
