07 corolla S---moonroof closing ?

Love the 'S' i got last week. The only thing I can't figure out is why my moonroof when you try to close it stops about 1/3 of the way closed, and I have to lift the button, and push it again for it to continue to full closure. Is this normal? And if so, what is the reasoning behind it?

Thanks,
Bill w.

That's same thing happen in my parent IS, it a safety feature for in case someone stuck their head/ neck or whatever while the sunroof is closing.

It's definitely a safety feature. Fortunately, there is a bypass to eliminate the minor annoyance.

lol

It's a moonroof, not a sunroof

I thought all the 'S' came with one.

First tank of gas and I got AT LEAST 35.5 mpg. More if the dealer gave it too me with anything less than a topped off full tank. SWEET!
