Hello Everyone,

I am new here and I have a question for my 2000 Corolla VE.

If I touched the steering wheel When the engine was shut down, it would lock. I normally just turned the wheel to start the engine. But this time, I pushed the wheel too hard and probably broke the lock. Now, I feel the steering wheel so loose while driving, and it won't lock again when the engine is off.

Anyone know if it is danger to drive like this and how to fix it?

wow. Not to pry, but how hard did you push?

to fix it, you will have to take the steering wheel out most likely. You want a dealer or mechanic to do this, because of the air bag.
