gear shifting (auto) 04 - coroola

all,

i have a 2004 toyota corrolla, i have 51K miles on it, automatic, i forgot 2 do 30,000 mile service. however, i do oil change every 2500 miles.

Recently I have been hearing a straange shifting noise when my car goes from 1st to 2nd gear. It also has a huge relief or setback when my car passes the 2nd gear shifting... and then everythign seems to work fine........

someimtes (maybe once 3-4 days) when I am around 30-40mph and i am slowing down, my rpm takes a jump and then the car is back to normal shifting mode


does anyone know what this can be? any suggestions? Please help
