04 corolla HID problem

Hey guys
I have a 2004 toyota corolla, i just ordered HID kit for my car, however when i installed it it flickers like a strobe and turns off in 15 sec, in a 04 corolla it has the auto head light turn on, so when i put the key in it turns on, i dont have to turn the nob to turn the lights on. however the HID dont work only when i put the key in , PLAESE HELP ME. hey bro do u have any site which would give me instructions for a 2004 corolla. to disable the day time running lights..
