7a-f 1.8 Engine Problem ! I Need Help!

The car starts but cylinder#2 is not working properly. The car sounds like when you are runnig out of gas. We have spark and fuel but no combustion. The ecu doesn't read any code. I unplugged the plug wire and the car stays the same unlike when i pull any of the other 3 cylinders. I raplaced the ecu but that was not the problem. I changed the injectors and that didn't work either. I replaced spark plug and wires and again that's not the problem. New spark plug #2 fouled the same day with carbon deposit meaning there is fuel. I know is not the engine becaused i replaced it also. The same problem!!!!! I guess is a wire problem that keeps the injector open. Anyone nows how to test to confirm it. Any suggestions or any different opinions. I need HELP!!!!!!!!.

When you say replaced the engine do you mean it was rebuilt? If you just replaced it with a used engine you may need to do a compression test to see if it is o.k. It could also be a loose vacume line.

I went and bought another engine. I used the same ignition, and intake manifold from the old engine. I had rebuilt the original engine and the same was happening. The engine was rebuilt due to a toasted exhaust valve. I know the engine is not the problem or a vacum line. The problem is particular to cylinder #2. It comes down to injectrors. I tested injector #2 in cylinder #4 and it worked fine there but cylinder #2 with injector#4 still not creating combustion and the plug fouled again. I think something makes injector#2 stay open casusing the spark plug to fouled and cause no spark in cylinder #2.
