is there a best intake for the corolla? Because I know for some hondas, there is an intake called the "Whale dick" intake that a lot of honda owners swear by it. There is also an intake made for a couple BMW that a lot of BMW owners swear by it, too. Does the corolla have something like that?
there are no intakes for the gen 7 corolla's except ebay stuff that in my opinion is all worthless crap, If your handy some people have made intakes out of 3inch white PVC shit pipe, that works ok but there is debate to fumes the piping may or may not create under high under-hood temperatures, other solution is buy some aluminum J-bends or U-bends and some straight and make one up by either welding it or using silicone couplers

TenZen, have you ever tried other ones? or just the Weapon R? if you haven't then you can't really say yours is better as you haven't compared to anything else.
BTW they're all basically the same, minor details are different (looks, etc.) but the basic design is still the same.
Icebox, try www.cosmoracing.com they're out of Canada but they ship to the US.

no not all ebay stuff is crap, i was mostly refering to the intakes, in my opinion the short rams don't really help they will make that intake noise and might help throttle response but in terms of making power there sucking up hot air from the engine bay, and i have never seen a true cold air intake on ebay or anywhere for that matter they simply dont exist unless they have been custom made..

True, True, True....I myself have not seen a TRUE CAI on eBay...but you got to admit that those homemade CAI are pretty COOL....I'll pay $60 for one...
haha I actually have that on my 95 prizm it actually works pretty good when you dont have the rain shield on. I had to customize the piping tho cause civic intakes come out on the passenger side. I get alot of people that think its an intercooler and ask me how much my car is boosted haha.
looks like you had to move the battery. if i was to do it, i dont think i would have to. where the air box was on my cat theres a hole where it would get its air(i guess) and i could fit it in there if know how big it is. theres some black pipe i guess in the way which i could take out. And those would work if i had a digital cam but i dont
