Wheel/Tire choice

On my 07 Corolla S I'm running S-tech's with the stock wheels and tires which are 195/65/15. Right now there is about a 1/2 finger gap on the front and a 1 1/2 finger gap on the rear. I love the way this looks but I want to either keep the factory alloys and ditch the suckie tires or get the TC 17's which have 215/45/17 tires. If I decide to keep the factory wheels what size tire do I get so I don't loose the gap that I want? If I go with the TC wheels would I loose the gap at all?

Thanks for the link but aftermarket wheels don't really do it for me.

Yes. I know both will fit but which one will retain the gap that I want?

The tC wheels will fit just fine, a lot of guys have swapped their Corolla/Matrix wheels for the tC 17s.
