crap news

So i just took my wagon in for its NC inspection and because the previous owner did a lot of customization crap of the exhaust system I failed with a big F.

The mechanic's recomendation was to get a stock exhaust system out of another corolla and swap it out. The junk yards I've called haven't had any intact systems.

My question is, what are the chances of me tracking this down? If so how much $$$?

If I got it all piecemeal, what all would I need to buy?

THANKS

It's a 1982 Corolla Wagong 3tc Automatic RWD

Here's the stuff that "failed" because it's not there anymore: air injection system, exhaust gas recirculation, thermostatic air control, oxygen sensor.

I guess it passed in Mass.

Am i screwed?

here is the air pump list in case you need it....

I always go to https://www.1sttoyotaparts.com/partscat.html and input the parts number to get the roughly price for the parts.

not really, just get try to find all the missing part for junkyard/ebay or dealer and put them back in and you will good to go....

what excitly you miss? thermostatic air control, oxygen sensor, air pump?

Try to send this guy a message ---> http://myworld.ebay.ca/carolr4620

I know that guy from ebay and he said he currently have a complete 1981 wagon in the junkyard near his house, I think he can get all the parts that you need from that wagon. (I just received the rear bumper from that wagon from him).

I was so mad and it's over 100 degrees today, I got all flustered. ... so, I can't remember exactly, i should have written it down. I will call him back.

He said the guy also put in new headers. Which i guess is why he was telling me to start from scratch?
