keep up with the toy mods list man! it was covered wayyyyyyyy back. but actually they fit, but they are really tall on the timing gear side, and have fittings to have it bolted to some re-bar that connects to the chassis or support structure..

Chassis utlizes the valve cover as a support structure for the car. Shouldn't be a problem with the later models. But the early models have a real high peak.
Try looking up old Formula Atlantic Teams.
That would be my best suggestion. As they would let stuff go for cheap as old stuff is not use to them. Plus I doubt if they even own a Toyota daily driver to take advantage of it.
The last two times I saw that valve cover was at an Autocross and in the pits at the Molson Indy.
Formula atlantic would really rock in an AE86! ~350hp @ 12,000 rpm. Hehe same engine as Takumi has in initial D stage 3 when he blows his engine back in stage two racing the evo's ;P
ummm i think not. 4age putting out 350? its more like 240hp...with super agressive cams. and takumi's engine is not a FA engine...its an N2 spec engine...mind you they fall just short of the FA engines.

he gets a rally spec 20v, not a Formula Atlantic tuned 16v

Speaking of Takumi... that was sad when he lost the EVO... and seeing that 4AG blow up... man so sad... But nothing tops Aeris' Death scene from FFVII that still gets me every time.
I hear that's the saddest moment in video game history!
