95 Prizm (abs active light)

HI everybody, my sister has a 95 Prizm and the (abs active light) just turned on. She doesn't have the manual so we dont know what it means. It also has an (abs) light but that one is o.k and is not on. Does anybody know what that light means?

Means you're probably low on fluid, check both brake fluid bottles and fill them up.

It means that one of the wheel sensors went bad (most likely). You have to put it on a computer scanner to see which one is bad. The good news is that the brakes are fine, it just does not have ABS anymore. The other good news is that the sensor for '95 ('96 & '97 are more) is not that expensive. About $130 (part only, ez job to put in)...
