07' 'S'....horn replacement!!!

Ok,

The only thing I've found with the 07' 'S' is the horn. It SUCKS! So, what are my options? Anyone replaced it with something else? I'm assuming it's electronic.

I got a horn from a camry at the junk yard and it works, much better than the POS horn that comes on the corolla.

Assuming it's the same style (little two-wire connector goes to a sort of tweeter-shaped horn) as the older Corollas, ANY horn will work. You've already got a relay-switched 12V source...go wild! I have the twin horns off a 1969 Plymouth Fury 3 that I picked up for $5...run 12V to signal, ground them to the chassis, anything goes.

What else did you find? j/k

Most 9thgen opt for the Hella Supertones (including me), they are loud but pricy.

The stock horn are electronic, its a cute tone. Beep beep.

lol

I wonder if there's a website that has horn sounds of various automobiles? This will take some careful thought.

Try these:

http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog....2520&SKU=77839

Half the price of the hella's, much louder, and gives you the piercing Italian air horn sound.
