Running a wire through the firewall

I have a '05 CE, and I am installing some foglights in it that I got off of ebay. I'm having a problem trying to figure out where to run the power wire thru the firewall into the interior for the power switch.

I saw a few grommets for the ECU, etc but I was wondering if there is an easier way to run the line, or if there is an unused grommit somewhere I could use? If anyone has any pics that would be helpful.

Thanks...

use either of those grommets you see under your dash just above where your feet are... This is the probly your best option & its not that hard... Take some chicken wire or some small hard line & electrical tape... Tape the power wire to the hard wire and shove it through the grommet... Run the wire to a power source & to the switch & your done..

If the knockouts don't work for you just drill a new hole (be very careful of the lines in the engine bay) and use the appropriate size grommet.

Thanks, I got it figured out. I ended up running them thru the grommet for the heater core - it was pretty easy.

Of course my redneck Chevy driving moron of a neighbor , came over and tried to put his .02 in about my foglight install, but that's another story
