Need help on 98 Corolla LE

Hi All,
I have a 98 corolla that has 70,000 miles on it and runs fine. I have 2 tasks that I need to work on this vehicle.
1)I need to remove the radio and replace with a CD. The question is when I remove the panel should I just pry it out (any specific points where the force should be applied)

2)The driver side window (power) gets stuck and it always needs my help to roll up or down
Does anyone have any instructions on how to remove the door panel to reach the internals.
Is this a easy matter to fix?
Thanks all
Savio

for Number 1

Turn the ignition to accessory, but the car into 1st gear, and use the parking brake to keep the car fro moving.

This allows you to have some extra room to get on the bottom of the bezzle.

If you look fromn the bottom, there are 2 slots for your flathead screw driver. Start on the bottom and work your way up.

For #1 try this link http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs...PDF/869001.pdf

For #2 try spraying the window channel with silicone spray that usually does the trick. It lubricates the channel so the glass doesn't stick.

Unless your radio is installed in the double DIN slot below, you don't really need to do the gear thing. It won't get in your way.

I bought my silicone lube at Canadian Tire for $1.79 so I think you can get it from most big stores like Autozone.

This is right. The bezel thats directly on top of the radio needs to be removed. Take your time and just pry it open. Wrap the screwdriver with some paper towels or something really soft so you dont scratch anything. Once you pop it off, dont pull it hard, You have to discconect the clock and the hazard light and anything else thats there. After that remove the bezel and the radio is accesible to you.
