weird interesting funny thing, about my sr5(4-AC)

again any comments are greatly appreciated.

ok, i had my engine rebuilt 6 months ago. and my engine has been doing this ever since... i actually can't remember if it did this before.

it revs weird at 2k. i can rev to 1k fine 3k fine, and by fine i mean it goes to 3k and drops.

when i rev to 2k it will like drop 200 and go back to 2k before falling down.... only occurs at 2k... like it hangs if i let up on the gas at 2k... and when i drive around 2k only in the first and second gear it rides really rough. acclerarion is kinda weird too esspecially when its cold, but thats sorta expected.

anyone know what is going on?

and i baby my engine.. i shift below 3k most of the time now.

worn out part on the TPS? (throttle position sensor)

that's freaking weird, if a shop did the rebuild for you, go harrass them about it

Well... it could be that the carb is jetted/ajusted wrong and its causing a flatspot... hmm... oh and you dont have to shift below 3000, "babying" the engine too much can actually cause damage as you lug the engine.

well, normally shift at 3k i goi further sometimes, though rarely.

anyway i'm pretty sure my carb needs work/rebuilding too. so that may be the case. it was a friend who rebuilt the engine for me so, i'll have to harass him about it. i'll check on the TPS. thanks.
