Lightbulb 4afe 1.6 For 4afe 1.8

Can I just drop in a 1.8 , if I had a 1.6 initially?

talking about the 1.8L 7afe engine? if so, yes. with very little modifications to via power-steering (the braket needs to instead of the fixed static position of the bolt, needs to be turned into an open slot type so u can adjust it)

well if he waned he could go to a wrecker and get all the brackets, this isn't like a 20v or 4agze swap where if you need something you don't have it's sometimes easier to fab it since the 7afe was sold here

Yea just do yourself a favor, and while you have the engine out. Get a pre-1995 7AFE or convert the throttle body over. After 1995 the 7AFE got owned and put out 10 less HP. Also, get a 1994 7AFE ECU, they have less restrictions and no governor. Now I'm not sure when the governor was put in, but mine is a 1994 and I know I don't have one.
