SC not boosting

i need help.. my SC is not boosting we dont know why.. there is no leak in tne SC.. any ideas what might be the problem.. any info will help... tnx

Is the pulley actually receiving power and locking up?,could be a break in the wire or the ground not connected etc.

The belt needs to be really tight btw.

the SC is engaging.. and the wiring is good.. but its stilol not boosting properly.. the boost is bot consistent.. sometimes its 1psi then 3psi then 1psi then 2psi the most i got was 4psi. everytime i step on the accel the boost is deifferent... there are 2 vsv that are required in the vacum line and mine are not connected they go straight up.. is that the problem...??

The vacuum lines need to be connected correctly for it to work.

Here is the factory diagram, with it connected like this you should get approximatly 8 psi.
Which is the max the early bigport pulley can manage anyway.

yes and no.....

i would guess that if he's using a stock ecu then the vsv's might need to be hooked up

however, the s/c itself can work directly off of a switch (which is what I did in my old gze Megasquirt mr2)


you could have a faulty bypass valve
