Steering wheel change

How hard is it to take out the stock steering wheel and replace it with a racing wheel..also, could someone who knows what they're talking about be so nice as to explain to me how to do it, thanks

Well if you're talking about your 93 Corolla still, that is easy as hell. I removed the whole airbag system since I wasn't using the driver side anyways. However I can tell you you are gonna need some wierd tools.

If you pop off the caps on the sides of your steering wheel, you will see what I'm talking about. The rest of the job takes mostly socket wrenches and philips head screwdrivers.

Hmm..sounds good, do you know the names of those wierd tools or you think they'd show me the ones I need at the store I buy the steering wheel from..?

Torx bits for the two screws from the side, steering wheel puller for the actual wheel removal.

I've never seen those bolts they have on the sides of the steering wheel to take it off. The whole airbag system has them.
