Exclamation Corolla Sticky Info/Suggestions/Advice

Hey all as you might have noticed I merged the stickys here into one master sticky (alla harrdcore & Camry sections) including some new info like Corolla Chassis codes. Please give suggestions for info to include here.
This sticky can help us cut down on repeated questions from newbs so please point out usefull information that can be included for FAQ.
Please give any chassis codes that you know becasue I am missing some (please only North America to keep it simple)

I might make separate sections for popular chassis codes as well
with links; I can already think of some like obviously club4ag in the AE86 section, AE92pages or whatever for the AE92 section, and corolland/corolla performance for AE102 and ZZE-110.

Please give any advice/info/suggestions/flames/put-downs/brown-nosing/praise/pictures of your mother here.

Wait no, scratch the mother pictures, put-downs and flames, but brown nosing and praise are still accepted.

Chris

This is a good idea Chris, and a long time coming. I think seperate chassis codes will be the best way to inform the newbies. I am also getting sick of hearing "goto club4ag.com" because we should be promoting our own site, why dont we have words of wisdome by our own AE guys. Although I do like Moto's initial Newbie post. But that is already a sticky from nick.

I will get back to you on this post when I have more time.

Well I did intend on putting a link to club4ag in the AE86 section, but I am wating to hear from Ekam on putting up links though it should be fine.
More info directly from us would also be good. We have plenty of people here who have taken apart like everything on their AE92s(Itchy) and AE86s(Nick), so If anyone wants to do a write-up on their model go ahead and post it here. Also If Nick wants to edit his post in there and flesh it out a bit he can post here.

I might make a whole separate part or thread for links if I think it's worth it. So it could have links to forums, info sites, and even places that sell sports parts...

Please check what I have in there so far and give suggestions!

Thanks guys

Chris

OK I got the go-ahead on putting informational links in there so I will be working on it soon. Prob not today as I am really busy at work, maybe.

And I find it hard to believe that no one has specific suggestions for the sticky... oh well

If you guys have suggestions for links post 'em up.
I know you have your favorite Corolla info stashes so let's see 'um.

I've been building a collection of links to dealers web pages to simplify the search for parts in a forum where I'm a moderator. It is something I started last weekend and will continue to build on weekly. But I've been building these links out of companies that sell parts for Corollas.

So far I have the following sections:
Aerodynamics
Assorted Performance Parts (more or less big part makers like HKS)
Brakes
Carburators
Clutch/Transmission
Cooling
Exahust
Fluids
Intake
Interior
Nitrous
Sound Systems
Spark Plugs
Suspension
Tires
Wheels

There is still lots more links I know that I can add. But it is finding some of these companies web pages that takes up most of my time. I can e-mail this to you if you wanna take a look at it and post it as well as uptades of new links I add.

Great thanks

you are talking about corollaracing right gord?
I was going to link to forums too and that one was on my list.

Hell yeah let's get those links up.
You can post them here or Email me or whatever floats your boat.
Also a reminder if anyone knows any of the North American chassis codes that I am missing please post them up!
Peace.

I will do a lot with this by the weekend...

Ya, it's Rolla Racing. If you don'r already have the link to the forum here it is.

www.corollaforums.com

I'll send an e-mail to you after I update the list this weekend. Everything will be already coded so all you have to do is copy and paste it.
