Rims...

Questions..... I have a 96 Corolla but with some Mazda 15" OEM rims.
Does it matter that I have those rims or will it affect the overall performance of the vehicle?
Should I get the OEM steelies or keep'em?

FYI- The vehicle was bought from a military friend which had those rims already on there.

PS- Could we get a sticky for all Rolla pics?? and maybe a Gen 7 icon??

The 15" rims should give you a bit better handling than the OEMs. Presuming the tire aspect ratio is correspondingly lower, your speedometer should still be accurate as well. What's not to like?

Well it depends on the tires really, if the tires on those rims are not the same ratio as your original size your speedo will be off by a few km/h or mph.

Here, play around with this tool; input your original tire size on one side, and the tire size on the Mazda rims on the other side and it should tell you how much your speedo is off.
