Door speakers 93 rolla

Is it hard to instal door speakers on a 93 corolla or would I be forced to pay Future Shop $50 to put them in for me..? I'm just afraid of tearing my door apart and not being able to put it back in.

Not hard to DIY, but if you aren't mechanically inclined, I'd recommend reading up carefully first to avoid breaking any of the snap in tabs that holds the door panel on.

There should be instructions if you refer to crutchfield.com as well.

The basic steps are:

1) pop out the control panels with a small flat head. Or remove window crank
2) disconnect the harnesses from the switches
3) remove the triangle plastic trim opposit the side view mirror
4) unscrew (phillips head X1) the pull door handle. push the door handle towards the front of the car and pull outwards. then disconnect the tab to the actuator rod.
5) pop out the door handle and unscrew (phillips head x2) the screws under the handle.
6) grab the entire door panel from the side and pull out.. the entire panel is held on using plastic compression "pop clips."
7) now you can unscrew the speakers.
