Overheat buzzer warning system ?

Hello,

I'm looking to put in a over heat warning system and would like to ask if anyone has seen one for the Corolla/Prizm? Something with a buzzer would be what I'm looking for. Let me know what you think or if you have an idea.

I dont see much use in it.

You might need to install another temp sensor into the cooling system that switches on a certain temp. Wire this to a small, low wattage buzzer in place of the normal temp light.

Keep in mind if the dash has a temp light the sensor is a switch that when tripped by over temp grounds the wire from the light and completes the circuit. If an analog temp gauge, the sensors resistance changes with the coolant temp.

Piggy back off the temp light sensor.... Of course! I have a parts car, so I can strip out an apprioprate wattage buzzer. I'll double check the wiring diagrams. Thanks.

Just fix it so it doesn't overheat. When the light turn on, its too late already.
