Installing built in Navigation system

Has anybody heard of or have pictures of a navigation system built into the dash? I was thinking where the ashtray and the little storage area above it was there would be enough space. I have the 2007 Le model. Is this a do it yourself job or should I have a professional intaller. Could this be done for $ 500.00? Any help would be appreciated. I wish it was an option when I bought the car the salesmen said to buy a Camry if you want it...j

there was one person i saw cut out the bottom of the a/c face panel takin out the top and bottom compartments and put in a double din HU in there
but u have to move the wires down there to connect em
