Just wondering anyone with a corolla that can go faster?
what a waste of a motor that has potential to go faster than just 180km/h. I hate the electronic governor.

Mine is governed to 180 kph just like yours...I usually only hit about 145kph anyway.

I wonder if I could get the car over 240 if the wheels are not on the ground. :p

Cheap way of doing it I guess but it still means the car went 240. And I'd have a picture to prove it to!

Now the only question is how to do it without the risk of killing my self.

How the hell do you plan to get the car to move, with the wheels not on the ground? Got an extra rocketpack in your pocket or something?

LOL.... I dont know many of them, that will get to that point. Not without a rebuild and some serious mods.

I had mine doing a little bit over 200km/h a couple of times.. I felt I could easily go higher, but I didn't wanna risk a ticket plus suspension plus all the other legal bullshit.

my ef with zc did well over 200kmph.

the speedo was good for 200kmph..it hit 200 and i was at around 6300rpm in fifth...around that rpm range. the car would still accel(rpm's would rise but i dunno the speed no more ) fuel cut was at 7800 and i removed the governor on the zc ecu.... i was tailing an sl600 on the way to shannonville...this was last year.

i estimate 220

hmmm... I can't remember what RPM I was at.. but I know it was around 6000. The only thing I had done to my engine was a Mushroom-style foam filter.. and the exhaust had a hole in it. suspension ain't stock though.. but yeah.. as soon as it hit about 205km/h.. I chickened out.. it was night time too.. so you never know what's ahead on dark sections of Hwy 401.
