1zzfe Fuel Pressure Regulator

I am installing a 1zzfe in without using the stock Fuel pump assembly that comes with the FPR {fuel pressure regulator}. I have an msd in line fuel pump that is capable of suplying the 45psi needed for the 1zzfe .

I wanted to know since the 1zzfe doesnt have a return hole in the fuel rail if i can install an aftermarket FPR before the fuel pressure rail?

Have anyone seen a mod like this one done with a 1zzfe?

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks.

Why didnt you say that on your first post.

Then its just a matter of getting a fpr that connects between fuel hoses, however I dont remember if the 1ZZ-FE rail has two hoses, because you need to put it on the return side of the fuel system. if it doesnt, then just get a fuel rail made

i found the answer on this website... just like i tought put the fpr before the fuelrail hose. and give it 45psi stable at all times. Weird system but thats how the new toyotas work. from the fuel tank i am going to use first:

. in line fuelscreen {strainer} , external fuel pump, fuel filter, {all of this near the tank..}

Then by the engine bay: FPR .

That shoudl take care of it hopefully.

thanks for the help. And of course i am going to replace the fuel hose with fuelinjection high pressure grade hoses.
