hey.. i was going thru the paper today and i found a 86 corrola GTS for sale.. but it also said it was automatic.... is that possible? i thought the GTS were only available with manual transmission...

probably a SR5

Ya, it is most likley a SR5. If it is marked as GT-S it sould only be manual. If it does have a 4A-GE under the hood it is a half ***ed conversion. The engine alone did not make the car a GT-S. There were many other things as well and it is way to costly for a full conversion.

they did come in auto. very rare though.

If you pay the extra money you can get anything you want, i'm pretty sure it was special order, I've seen worse things! Automatic Porches and Automatic M3's!!!
