What you need is money for the parts. Thats pretty much it if you know how to install them.

fmu, redtop injectors and a mechanically adjusted waste gate on a small ass turbo. run low boost(around 4 psi) and the stuff i mentioned above should be sufficient for a low boost application.

Does anyone actually make a turbo exhaust manifold for the 4AGE, or do you have to have one manufactured?

Turbo 4ag

Before i release the sea of parts what do you want???? a street car or a drag car???? also do you want max power or just a quick car.????????????????\\
1. Research. youll need alot of info on turbo cars man so u wont destroy your investment (eg Maximum boost . A book by corkey bell on turbo and applications sold at amazon.com) also an automath book .
2. full knowing of all specs and all types of 4ag engines.
3.haynes manual on the 4ag(teardown and rebuild info)
decide if u want realiability or max juice.
4. The cheapest rout.............a 4agze from an mr2 aw11 or a map sensored 4agze 2 from an ae101(jdm)
5. Money ,paitience and knowing when to tell dumb asses when to shut the hell up when they tell you that its hard or stupid.(Eg. powerd by what youve heard folks who have never done it but like to opinionate)
6. one of the hardest things to get.........turbo exaust manifold. Get it custom made or i can sell you one . i have an hks one that is for actuated turbos or i know people who sell some out here in okinawa. your best bet is a custom manifold .
7. Fuel.......................370cc injectors from a SC mr2 are perfect for 1.0 kilo or 14.7 psi of boost which is fun as hell. Also all other fuel req....(EG. fuel pump, fuel mamagement).
8. Find out who welds around where you live and get an intercooler and piping done.
Check these 3 set ups . from real cheap to max. But ull make alot of power safely and cheaper than a gay ass turbo kit or some crazy ricer mod.

Cheap but still turbo . 14psi 200hp area

1. 4agze block from an mr2 SC (best if re-ringed and re sealed)
2. super afc for the fuel management .
3. Mr2 supercharger injectors good for 200hp (the injector formula says...........CC's(injectors) x number of cylinders divided by 7 equals how much horse power the injector flows at max duty cycle . Check out www.sdsefi.com for good tech info on fuel.
4. The turbo that will be cheap and easy to get out there in the states is a t25 from a twin turbo 300zx. Get all lines for oil and gaskets too. Go to www.turbocorolla.com for info on making a turbo 4ag.
5.exuast manifold......................custom or shop for it on the net.
6.Find a front mount or at least an intercooler and have the piping welded. (aluminum or steel)
7.Air fuel mixture gauge.(very important) Greddy makes one and it is the shit.\boost gauge and whatever you need to monitor your car.
8.smile you are now turbo. Dont forget the metal head gasket!

Moderate turbo. 18psi 275hp+

1. Same suet up as first but you will up grade injectors to at least 550cc injectors from an FC rx7 , metal head gasket anything more than 1mm and maybe the turbo if you want to hit higher than 14psi or 1 kilo of boost.

Max fun (full 4agze turbo build $ 23psi+ good for 400hp+

1. 4agze block from an mr2 SC (hoaned out and cleaned). the stock rods will do good for good boost. ARP rod bolts ($120)are a must for avoiding a rod shooting through the block at high rpm. After market low compression 4ag turbo pistons(arias/wiseco $500 or less)
2 .Headwork . port and polished by you. Yes you. buy a headwork book for like a domestic . It will teach you how to do a minor port and clean up job with a dremmel. Also if you want camshafts get valve springs (same saftey as rod bolts )
3.Good clutch (ACT/clutchmasters ect.) flywheel if you want.($350)
4. Good efi. Most prefrebly a stand alone or retuned ecu . You might be able to get away with an Apexi SAFC. 700cc injectors or higher 1000cc best bet for max fuel . Whalbro 255lph fuel pump buy it on ebay for an fc rx7 .
5. T3/t4 hybrid 50 trim Actuated or external if you want but you will need a wastegate($500)(www.cheapturbo.com
6. turbo exaust manifold and down pipe welding. Also intercooler and piping.
7.Somebody who can weld aluminum and steel.
8. gauges (boost./airfuel ratio/exaust gas temp)
9. maximun boost book.......(turbo info really good but take in info as info not a bible scripture.($30)

6. research.................alot of open minded research
www.turbocorolla.com /www.club4ag.com /www.4agze.com/www.sdsefi.com/www.howstuffworks.com. ect.....................

Thers way more to it but the more you learn the cheaper it gets man. just dont let dumbasses tell you a load of shit. read and ul wil be enlightened.

estimate

Under $4000 for that max build i showed you and wayyyyyyyyy cheaper for the cheap but still turbo set up. Look up all those parts and ull see. Remember you dont own a honda so there is alot you can do with a beefed up cast iron block like the 4agze. Lots and lots of bOOSST!

uhhh what i posted was an ultra boro method to turbo the 4age.
all the parts i've listed can be had from 1990+ gts corollas.

as for the manifold, u will have to get one custom made...that shouldnt be a prob. i'm sure that shop that works on rx7's all the time can do it for u..what's it called again? apex???

Nice

Nice REN69

The only thing is the price for that kit man. For wayyy less you can build your own and make more power. 5 to 9 grand for only 300ps or 299hp is too much . Also thats the kit that rivaled the hks twincharger kit in price man . if you want the AD translated i can send you the translation
