flg8tr...you have to understand that a good portion of the on-line users here on this forum are not in the STATES and the trim level on the Corolla are different in the rest of the WORLD....

Thanks guys for your help. Also FinalGear thanks for pointing that out I didn't even think of that. One other question for you all. I have been looking at getting a supercharger for my rolla. My question is that when I am searching for aftermarket parts they give the basic number that you guys are helping me with but there is an "R" involved in it. Is this something that I should be concerned about. Again thanks for all the input.

Super....

My 2-cents:

I use too believe that supercharging was easier and safer, than turbo (in some points it is). But the sad truth supercharging require that same amount of work as it's counterpart (turbo). Supercharging has it's fair share of ups and downs....but, put it this way, supercharging is a good aspirated for beginners..

FinalGear the reason that I wanted to supercharge it is because my corolla is a automatic. If it was a stick I would go for turbo. I traded the car with my wife and she doesn't know how to drive a stick. So do you think the turbo will work just as good on a automatic?

Although it seems contradictory to put a turbo on an automatic, it would be good because since at full throttle with an automatic, you never lift off the gas to shift, which means you're never in vacuum pressure, which means you're constantly on the boost.

DX5 That does make sense. I never thought of that. But I like to be able to play with the blow off valve.
