Need A/C On In Order For Engine To Sound Right?

Its Weird..I Have To Have My A/C On At Least Medium In Order For The Engine To Keep Running..Anybody Ever had This Problem Before? What Do I Have To Fix/Replace, And What Are The Aprox. Price For Doing This? Thanks...

Might be the IAC valve needs cleaning or has a problem. With A/C on, the engine idle speed is increased to compensate for the A/C compressor load. If the idle is low to start out with, the engine idle up system (A/C on) will increase it to what you think is a normal idle.

Do a TN history search on cleaning the IAC valve as this has come up many times.
