Has anyone had this ignition problem?

Engine starts when cold
Then dies when warm (5 - 10 min)
Then has a no spark condition until the engine is cold again?

Or maybe its my test for spark when it doesn't start.
I have a friend crank the engine as I take a spark plug wire and place a screwdriver inside it, then try to look for sparks holding it near the engine block. I also did this with the wire coming from the ignitor to the distributor. Is this a proper way or is there a better way?

Also, not knowing how the 4age electric system works, can the ECU or some physical heat sensor sense high temperatures and not spark the engine?

Its the distributor and or ignition coil or circuit. I had a similar problem. Do a diagnosis check just to double check.
