I Didnt have to go past the cgi.ebay.com to know it is not. In all seriousness - If you want it - get it. Any headers are better than no headers. Just be weary of these two things:

# Mirror-Like Chrome Finish

# 8~12 Horsepower Increase

#1: The Chrome Like finish will not stay there fore long. It is a coating that is most likely not heat resistant and will peel very quickly.

#2: Not 8-10... more like 2-3.

But like i said - any header is better than none. I would be more inclined to a 4-2-1 if you can find one... but that is just me..

Honestly- Headers on a 1.8 are going to be more for looks then performance. Just not going to do a lot. I have a 1.8 and I have headers...but they are not on the same car.

my ebay header turned out to be GREAT! was $100 shipped, real stainless, nice tig welds, and gave a big boost in my topend power.

however the 7afe is a different engine than the 1zzfe, you can port the mild steel stock manifold to give a gain, thats cheaper than buying the ebay header. gasket match the manifold and grind the cross smoother and more streamline.

4-1 design... the finish probably will peel off like stated above. 4-1 design like the pacesetter. It should be functionally OK if you can get it on. IMHO I don't think external mods do much unless you have something like a turbo to call for it... or if your stock setup sucks to begin with... like REALLY sucks to begin with. I think power band characteristics change and sometimes your top end gets noticeably stronger, but it mainly changes response issues I think... sort of like feeling some power after a tune up.

Intake header and exhaust... I've always heard 15 hp gain... I think more like 2hp if that. The manufacturers are probably talking about the gain when put on a turbo engine restricted by a stock header. For 200 I'd say put it on suspension and cosmetics or save it for something bigger...

If you're the type that has money but just doesn't know... sure, buy it and learn...

I think there is some valid points BUT- no way does wrapping your exhaust manifold give you 5-7 HP. I can believe the fuel economy- but headers on my 6.3L engine did not result in 7 HP at the wheels. It takes A LOT to gain 7 true horses.
