On a full tank (40ish Litres) when it was running well and i was driving aggressively i would be lucky to get 400-450km. In the country i could get around 600km off the tank. So not the best mileage, but it is a performance engine - so i expected that...
Ok. Thanks!

If you want to check it, take out the gauge from the tank "leave it connected to the wires", and move the lever slowly up and down and check on the dash to see if it corresponds with your movements. If it does then its good, and you might want to check your AFM settings. Once no one turned the tension wheel inside the unit, and the air bypass screw is set to "i believe its" 13mm from the top, just take it out and give it a good cleaning, mine was really dirty and caused the flap to be a little stiff, and thats sumthing you want to be nice and loose. Just my .02
Tried moving the float arm. At full swing, gauge did not indicate full. It was just at 3/4 full. Thanks!

Pretty nervous touching the AFM though.

Dont move the AFM settings, actually thats the last thing u want to do.
You say it didnt move past 3/4 when the arm is fully raised...then thats most likely the prob. But dont be too sure as it can also be the gauge in the dash not giving the correct reading.
As for the AFM, you cant damage it by cleaning it. But since youve most likely found the problem with your gas gauge reading, its if your willing to do it.
All i would suggest, is taking it out and feeling how the flap moves. If it's just even a little stiff, you want to spray some kind of electrical lube on the hinge inside. I use BelRay 6 in 1 and contact cleaner. and the color of the muck that came outa there was worth the clean. No harm done just dont flood it or hold it upseide down when spraying inside, cuz you may get some inside the electrical panel.
