You're a moderator.

Why not just lock them all?
(like in the Camry section)

i don't know if anyone mentioned this one because i didnt read through all the posts but awhile ago in either import tuner or modified (don't remember which one) they had a gts that they swapped an sc430 motor into i think thats probably one of the biggest swaps you'll find into a corolla haha

that's a 1UZFE swap, seems to be a popular swap lately.

Phatroyale, if I locked them all we wouldn't have this much fun.

Or "I wanna put a <whatever bigger than 2ZZ/3S> in my ZZE110" the way I see it

Yes, we drive Corollas, we want fun. Remember the pigs we are warned about in the gen 8 pic thread?

V-12 Merlin in a 55 Chevy, anyone? http://www.rodshop.com.au/project55.htm Sure, it's an American car, but if they can get a 27-liter into a car, say...twice the size of a Corolla, you should be able to shoehorn a 12-13 liter powerplant in. And by shoehorn, I mean rebuilding the frame around the engine.

Sure, you can put a S2000 motor in an AE86, or a SBC in an older Celica, but what's the fun of that? Try putting a Honda B18 or D18 or H22 or whatever those crazy kids call their engines in, if money's no object and you're still attempting to preserve some shreds of road legality.

Honestly, I'd rather have a SBC than a honda-B16126712717whatever engine in my car.

StealthSeo did all that work to put together the engine swap guide, and we still get questions like this.
Geeze! It is right there at the top of the front page.
