lsd from toyota

i have a 1987 ae86 with no LSD. can i just goto toyota and order the LSD and just bolt it straight on in my pumpkin? or do i need to order more?? like a axle? or a new pumpkin?? i dont think i need an axle, it should just bolt straight on. but dunno.. i have an open diff. someone help plz ?!

the lsd part number i think i left at home. but i got the proper LSD part for my car. i think !!!!

lsd axles are a bit shorter.. so you need lsd axles or to shorten the axles about 5-7mm (i believe it is, if you're using an OEM LSD)

I think migs had something on his website about that..

but if you order the actual LSD from toyota, it will probably cost a lot of money..

if you're going to spend a pile of money, might as well go aftermarket (TRD, Kaaz, Cusco)..

if you don't want to spend a pile of money, find a used OEM LSD on club4ag
