Hey Derek! Haven't heard from you for a while! How was the trip? Did you go to Quebec finally? We were there and had the best time! The weather was perfect but cold! Too bad we didn't meet up like we had planned. Our friends finished 18th overall in the Regional Category. Here are some very nice pics....

BTW, you sold you ae86 to Jover? Now he's selling it too...

Yep! McGeer/Williams were there with the Scooby! What a show they put on. Erickson and Besner gave them much competition in the whole event with there Evo's.

Too bad the Sprongl's weren't participating. But they were there as crewman for a Toy Celica GT4 and a 2002 Scooby WRX driven by 2 australians.

The Sprongl's are the kings of rallying. Even McGeer can't keep up with them!

Hey! Yep, the game is amazing. The graphics improvement is out of this world. And 600 cars, who can complain!

Bleem sells for about 9$ at EB (electronics boutique) here in Canada. You should be able to find it without any problems.

If not, we could always arrange something

think the sport is still at its infancy here in North America.

i mean it's only been 3 or 4 years since ppl ahve been running cars that look like the rally cars we are used to seeing and the organisation of events could still be better. I still think the events should allow recce runs just so the crews can make pacenotes not to know the track, but heck for safety reasons. driving at the speeds they do 10 feet from a cliff isn't exactly safe if you dont' have notes IMO.

as far as skillz goes, we are still light years behind the europeans. forgot which rally it was but when Higgins (i think that's the guy's name.. British driver) came over to run a SCCA event last year he completely dominated the event i think. WAsn't sure what car he was running, but i think it was a gp. N.

hopefully in 5 or 7 years, we'll have a American or Canadian driver on the big stage.

Hey Patrick!
Lots of no-shows, including me. No Keith and no Peter Thompson either, these are Frank's best customers too. Wonder what's up with that. I'd really love to go to Perce Neige in a week but I remember last year it was -50 with the wind, plus my friend Paul's race car is being finished off this weekend (DNF Perce Neige 2001 - 2 rollovers, max late) so doesn't look like we can get a trailer and everything together at the last minute. Motel Maniwaki is probably booked full right now and can't afford to stay at Chateu Logue Resort either (even if we could, no sleep with all the race cars making noise). Let me see if anyone else is going to Maniwaki and if I can find a room, going to take a look at the entry list for the teams too. Send me email privately, derek@eol.ca

Hey Andrew,
Didn't know you had a DC, I picked up the last copy at Yorkdale Electronics Boutique in Nov before Bleem went out of business. If you know how to rip it and burn the ISO, be my guest.

Hi Derek! You're still alive! Good news. he he he... I'll be chit chatting with Pascal tonight and see if we are going to Maniwaki for February 23rd. We have 3 weekends left to finish off our 7AG awd rolla and be ready for the Richmond, Quebec sprint rally March 2-3. The engine is in and all we have left to do is our switchboard and install a new rear diff. Pascal is working on the roll cage as we are speaking.

Have you checked out our pics in the "AE95 AWD Corolla with 7AG" thread?
