I actually find the gauge cluster to be very bright at the max setting... could be your bulbs?

depends what year gts you have.. the 85 shines green and the later year gts' shine a white color... if you have an 85 and would like to get rid of the green, just take you cluster out, pluck out the bulbs and take out the green colored condoms. now just put everythign back together and you'll have white lights

if you're wondering if you can change the backlight color to something else.. i think blue won't work cause i already tried it, and the latter model gts cluster bulbs come with blue condoms

I know my car is an AE92 but I changed my cluster and interior bulbs to xenon and I'm very satisfied with the brightness now
