f***ing awesome drift cars would be a
mustang or a camero,
but those are american and blah...
240sx would be great.. an ae86 is good also, but mind you not the easiest car to drift in
a miata i think would be kinda hard cuz it is so small, it would be like trying to drift a mk1 mr2..but with a tad more stability cuz the engine is in the front to keep it planted..
an fc3s or fd3s rx7 is always fun..

go drift a gokart...those things you can get sideways for days!!! dude, nothing is the best drift car...drifting is all about driver skill and very little about car setup. because if that wasn't the case, then tarzan Yamada wouldn't be able to drift a CRX!!!!
You got it Goodcookiedrift. It's all about skills and experience. Drifting is an art that is honed by the driver, not the car. You drift the car, not vice versa. Any car is good for drifting, all depends on your talent. I won't deny that RWD setups are easier to drift, but if you can't drift, you won't, even with a RWD configuration.
I've drifted my 2 ae86's, my ae92, 86 Camry, 89 Camry and a Chevy Astro! That last one was hell-a-fun! he he he...
With enough skills, and I've seen it on TV, you can even drift an 18 wheeler!

3-series BMW's are killer drifters (out of all that I did, only spun once, when road was inconsistent ice and dry road)
4Runners are wicked in snow- no spin, and suprisingly little roll for an SUV, don't try doing it on dry because its...its damn common sense.
Miata's are VERY difficult to drift using just the engine power (power over), you pretty much have to handbrake it, which I would not do because it's dangerous since you have to take your hands off the wheel. Jerking the wheel and mashing the gas makes the rear step out, but it gets back in line before you even have a chance to start countering.
Mercedes CLK430- they are supereasy, just superheavy, and roll like mad- doesn't give driver much confidence...but REALLY EASY to initiate
You can drift scooters, but very VERY slowly and in the snow- and using your feet to support...
All I can say is unless your on a track, don't do a side (handbrake enduced) drift- unless your in a stolen car and don't care whats gonna happen to it...power over and accelerate off are the easiest and safest to pull off...

Come to think of it..I think I was more sideways in my Dad's MPV van in my teenage years than I'm sideways now in my AE86s.
One of my dream drift cars would be the previous gen Impala SS with the police package, or a decomissioned Police Cruiser with the crash bars and everything, paint it flat black, drop it on 20" deeeeeeeeeep dish wheels, posi-lock rear end and call myself Domestic Drifter!
